Procurement of PVC Cable 70mm2 (19/.083) 4/Core

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Material Management department is inviting bids for the procurement of PVC Cable 70mm2 (19/.083) 4/Core under contract reference P59630. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed in Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement process will follow the National Single Stage-One Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - PVC Cable 70mm2 (19/.083) 4/Core, Quantity: 38 Km within 45 days from PO issuance - PVC Cable 70mm2 (19/.083) 4/Core, Quantity: 37 Km within 75 days from PO issuance The cables must conform to NTDC Specifications DDS-8:2007 (Amended to date). Delivery is to be made to IESCO Regional Store, Islamabad. Inspection will be conducted at the manufacturer's premises jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad or their authorized representatives. The supplier must provide 0.5% of the material cost as inspection fee. The delivery period is critical and must be adhered to strictly. The supplier is responsible for packing suitable for transit by rail or road to avoid damage. Eligibility criteria include valid prototype approval, registration with DISCOs/PPMC/WAPDA/NGC, no blacklisting, and compliance with technical and commercial terms. Bidders must have manufacturing experience of at least 2 years and supply experience of at least 1 year. Financial capacity requirements include net financial resources of at least 50% of contract value and average annual turnover of 1.5 times the contract value over the last 3 years. The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM. Bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline. The contract includes a 5% performance guarantee and liquidated damages of 2% per month up to 10% for delays.
