Procurement of Refurbishment of Mechanical Autofrettage Facility

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the procurement of refurbishment of a Mechanical Autofrettage Facility. This procurement is governed by PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. The facility refurbishment is detailed in Appendix-I to Annexure A and includes a lubricant pressurization system connected to the drive shaft of the lubricant head, designed to improve the quality and uniformity of lubricant deposition on the inner surface of the barrel. The system is controlled via a push button panel for ease of use in production and machining workshops. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with HIT, possess valid NTN and Sales Tax certificates, provide audit reports for the last three financial years, and submit a postal order of Rs 2,000 with the technical bid. The delivery period is 8 months after signing the contract.
