Procurement / Replacement of Qty.677 Maintenance Free Batteries for Qty.11 UPS Installed with Operational Equipment at IIAP Islamabad

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement and replacement of Qty.677 maintenance free lead acid batteries for Qty.11 UPS units installed with operational equipment at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP), Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - Battery 12Volt 7AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 8) - Battery 12Volt 75AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 60) - Battery 12Volt 28AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 40) - Battery 12Volt 65AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 40) - Battery 12Volt 12AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 49) - Battery 12Volt 9AH Lead Acid Maintenance Free (Qty. 480) The batteries are to be delivered within 30 days to the Logistics Section IIAP Islamabad. Bidders must comply with the technical specifications as detailed in the bidding documents. Eligibility criteria include valid registration on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR with 100% compliance for income and sales tax. Bid security amounting to PKR 279,500 is required in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 portal and accompanied by the original bid security submitted physically to the Logistics ANS Branch, Logistics Center (South), JIAP Karachi before the deadline. The technical bid will be opened on October 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened subsequently. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous bidder based on the lowest evaluated cost. Performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price will be required upon award. The successful bidder must provide warranty and replacement services as per contract terms.
