The Supply Chain Management Directorate of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan, is procuring spares for the rebuild target of 100 units of 580HP engines. This procurement is critical for maintaining and enhancing the operational readiness of these engines, which are vital for defense and industrial applications. The technical scope includes the supply of various engine spares as detailed in Annexure A of the tender documents. The procurement follows a single stage two envelope bidding process on an FOR basis. The delivery period is within one month after contract signing, with a final delivery deadline before 10th June 2026. Bidders must submit technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes, accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Draft, or Pay Order as per the instructions. Eligibility criteria require firms to possess valid NTN certificates, be registered with HIT or provide necessary documentation for unregistered firms, and comply with the DPP&I-35 regulations. Firms must not be blacklisted or defaulters and should have relevant experience and financial soundness. The tender emphasizes compliance with mandatory conditions, including bid validity of 120 days, submission of earnest money, and adherence to technical specifications. Key dates include the bid submission deadline on 04 May 2026 at 10:30 hours and bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day. Bids must be submitted at Gate No 5, Heavy Industries Taxila, Taxila Cantt. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents, including registration letters, audit reports, CNIC copies, and agency agreements, are complete and properly attested. Late submissions or incomplete bids will be rejected. Also, bidders should carefully prepare the technical proposal with muted bid security details and ensure the financial proposal is sealed separately to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail and strict adherence to the tender instructions will enhance the chances of successful participation.
