Procurement of Spares and Materials for Tarbela Power Station Units

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites bids for the procurement of various spares and materials for the Tarbela Power Station located at Tarbela. This procurement is managed by the Chief Engineer (Power) at WAPDA Tarbela Dam. The scope includes supply of spares for the Oil Dehydration Plant Units 11 to 14, insulation materials including glass wool and cotton cloth wrapping for HVAC ducting at Switchyard Relay Room Units 1 to 10, turbine guide bearing oil coolers for Units 5 to 10, and changeover switches, disconnectors, temperature detection relays, and RTD for excitation systems for Units 11 to 14. Bidders must be original equipment manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, or contractors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). For works, registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category is mandatory. The contract will be awarded on a Delivered Duty Paid (D.D.P.) basis with a completion period of 120 days from the date of purchase order. The tender requires submission of electronic bids through the EPADS portal by 1100 hours on the closing date, with bid security furnished in the form of CDR or bank guarantee in favor of the Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA Tarbela. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable. The bids will be opened on the same day at the specified times in the conference room at Tarbela Power Station. Interested bidders should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and comply with all requirements.
