Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila, Supply Chain Management Directorate, Taxila Cantt invites sealed bids for the procurement of spares required for the rebuild of 139 x Engine. This procurement is critical for the maintenance and operational readiness of the engines at HIT Taxila. The tender requires submission of separate technical and commercial bids in sealed envelopes by 10:30 hours on 24 August 2026, with opening at 11:00 hours the same day.
Items being procured:
- Crank Pin (1 Prs, 780 qty)
- Bearing Shell U/L (125/126XLI)
- Main Bearing Shell (880 qty)
- Combination ring (540 Nos)
The technical scope includes supply of OEM quality spares conforming to approved drawings and specifications. All items must be brand new, latest production, and pass visual, dimensional, material, fitment, and functional testing as per HIT standards. The delivery period is 3 months after contract signing, with destination at HRF, HIT Taxila.
Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, Sales Tax registration, audit reports for last 3 financial years, bank statements, CNIC of CEO/Director, OEM trade link, and a judicial certificate of non-blacklisting. Firms must submit a postal order of Rs 2000 with the technical bid. PEC category and FBR/ATL registration are required. Bid security in the form of CDR/Bank Draft/Pay Order is mandatory.
The tender emphasizes compliance with PPRA and MoDP rules, with a validity period of 120 days extendable to 180 days. Technical proposals without bid security or incomplete documentation will be rejected. The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
