Procurement of Submersible Pump Motor, Centrifugal Pump, and Distribution Box at NED University Karachi

NED University of Engineering and Technology Procurement Cell Karachi invites bids for the procurement of specialized pumping equipment and electrical distribution components for its main campus. Items being procured: - Submersible Pump Motor (4 KW, 5.5 HP, 220-415V, 50 Hz, 2900 rpm) with stainless steel body, polycarbonate impeller, and magnetic contactor control panel - Centrifugal Closed Coupled Pump (10 HP, 7.5 KW, 3 Phase, 380-400V, 50 Hz, 2900 rpm) with cast iron casing and impeller, mechanical seal, and star delta control panel - Wall mounted Distribution Box made of 18 SWG MS Sheet with MCCB of Terasaki make (60A, 30A, 15A ratings), internal wiring, and indicating lamps The technical scope includes supply and installation of pumps with specified brands (IMPO Franklin Group USA or equivalent for submersible pump, PURITY China for centrifugal pump), control panels with magnetic contactors, EOCR, phase protection relays, and dedicated wiring. The distribution box is powder coated with lock front safety plate and includes MCCBs and neutral/earth terminals. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least 3 years of relevant experience, local presence in Karachi, valid NTN and GST registration, and a minimum average turnover of PKR 1 million per year for the last three years. Bidders must submit bid security of 5% of bid value and comply strictly with technical specifications without optional or alternative items unless accompanied by bid security. Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no litigation, blacklisting, or corrupt practices is mandatory.
