Procurement, Supply & Installation of 5-KVA UPS with Maintenance Free Dry Batteries at NBP Call Center Gulberg Green Islamabad

The National Bank of Pakistan (Department Engineering Wing North) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement, supply, and installation of 5-KVA single phase, line interactive true online pure sine wave UPS systems at the NBP Call Center located in Gulberg Green, Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the power backup infrastructure at the call center. Items being procured: - 10 units of 5-KVA UPS with brand options including Powerage, Socomec, Nexsys, Mestro, or equivalent - Each UPS accompanied by 4 maintenance free dry batteries (4800 vAH total capacity, 4 Nos. x 12V x 100AH) - Batteries and UPS to be housed in 18 SWG M.S sheet perforated boxes - Complete installation including cables for batteries, input/output, and earth connections The UPS units must meet technical specifications such as 5000 VA power rating, single phase 220V output, voltage regulation between 160-260 VAC, frequency range 50 Hz, efficiency of 90% on load, power factor above 0.8, and protection against noise, surge, spike, RFI, overheating, short circuit, and mains over-voltage. The batteries should be of brands like Long or Leoch or equivalent, with a one-year warranty from the date of supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. Bidders must provide valid manufacturer authorization if not the manufacturer, proof of at least five similar contracts in the last five years worth not less than Rs. 2.5 million, and evidence of an office setup in Islamabad/Rawalpindi for after-sales service. The delivery period is 30 calendar days after contract signing. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 8th October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening on the same day at 11:30 AM. Technical bids will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Bid security of Rs. 240,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or payment order is required.
