Tender Description
The Common Managament Unit (PSCM) Islamabad invites sealed bids for the procurement and supply of laboratory items under contract reference P85912 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to support laboratory operations with high-quality goods to be delivered at CMU Warehouse, Near NIH, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. Items being procured:
- Universal bottle for cultures, 28-30 ml (500 packs)
- Specimen Transport Box (200 pieces)
- Ice Packs (800 pieces)
The universal bottles are clear, laboratory-grade borosilicate glass with screw-cap closures and rubber liners, suitable for repeated sterilization and microbiological use. Specimen transport boxes are durable, insulated polyethylene containers designed to maintain cold-chain conditions under tropical ambient temperatures. Ice packs are reusable water-based packs compatible with the transport boxes, designed for repeated freeze-thaw cycles without leakage.
Bidders must comply with detailed technical specifications including ISO 13485 or equivalent quality management certifications where applicable. Eligibility requires valid company registration, NTN, ATL status, bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of Pay Order or Bank Draft, and submission of samples and catalogues as per Annex-A. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Bids will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis with a 120-day validity period.
The bidding documents are available on EPADS v2.0 portal. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2026. Original bid security must be physically submitted to Block C, PSM Deptt. CMU, FDI Building, Near NIH, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
