National Bank of Pakistan invites bids from suppliers and firms registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue for the procurement of a Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) System. This system is intended to enhance the bank's capabilities in detecting and preventing trade-based money laundering activities. Items being procured: - Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) System The procurement involves detailed technical specifications and requirements available through electronic bidding documents on E-PADS, PPRA, and NBP websites. Bidders must submit electronic bids via E-PADS by Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Procurement Committee and participating bidders at Committee Room #3, 2nd Floor, NBP Head Office, I. I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Eligibility criteria include registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, ATL listing, and submission of original bid security instrument amounting to PKR 1,000,000 (Pakistani Rupees One million only). Acceptable forms of bid security are Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bankers Cheque from a scheduled bank valid for 180 days. The bid security must be submitted to the Department Head Tender, 3rd Floor, Procurement Division, NBP Head Office Building, Karachi, before the online submission deadline. A scanned copy of the bid security must also be uploaded on E-PADS along with the proposed bid. For technical difficulties using E-PADS, prospective bidders may contact the PPRA Team, Director MIS, Room No. 109, 1st Floor, FBC Building, Sector G-5/2, Islamabad, phone 051-111-137-237. Bidders are advised to carefully review all terms and conditions in the bidding documents and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of bid security and electronic submission is recommended to mitigate last-minute technical issues.
