Tender Description
The Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad invites sealed bids for the procurement of tyres and batteries for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is planned under the reserved funds of the university and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0. Interested and eligible bidders registered on EPADS v2.0 are invited to participate in this procurement process.

The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique under the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security as specified in the bidding documents, which can be in the form of a Pay Order, Call Deposit, Demand Draft, or a bid securing declaration as per the prescribed format.
All bidding documents, including detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements, are available online on the EPADS portal at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/126682. Bidders must ensure they are registered on EPADS v2.0 to submit their bids electronically. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
The deadline for bid submission is Monday, October 05, 2026, at 10:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM via the EPADS platform. Vendors not yet registered on EPADS v2.0 are encouraged to register at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. In compliance with Rule 48 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004, a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) has been notified for this procurement. The notification is accessible on the procuring agency's website and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website at www.ppra.org.pk.
