Providing and Fixing Protective Safety Net with Materials, Labor, Tools, Plants Equipment and Transportation Inside Manhole of KW&SC

Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation invites bids for the provision and installation of a protective safety net system inside manholes, ensuring comprehensive safety and protection for sewerage operations. This procurement is targeted at enhancing safety for both operational staff and the general public by preventing accidental falls and unauthorized access to open manholes across Karachi. The project covers the supply of all required materials, labor, tools, plants equipment, and transportation necessary for the complete installation as per the specifications provided by the Engineer Incharge. Items being procured: - Providing and fixing protective safety net inside manhole below RCC cover, complete in all respect, including materials, labor, tools, plants equipment, and transportation, as directed by the Engineer Incharge (Quantity: 50,000 Nos, Unit: Each) The technical scope includes the supply and installation of robust safety nets designed for long-term durability and compliance with relevant safety standards. All works must be executed within 300 days from the issuance of the written order. Bidders must possess valid registration with Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above with field specialization CE-09 & CE-10. Firms must demonstrate experience in similar nature works, with at least five completed projects in the last five years, and at least one project of 80% or two projects of 50% of the estimated cost. Financial turnover for the last five years must not be less than the estimated cost. Bid Security up to 5% of the estimated cost is required, submitted as a Pay Order or Bank Guarantee. Bids must be uploaded via the EPADS SPPRA Sindh portal by **04-09-2026 at 02:00 PM**, with physical submission of the Bid Security at the Accounts Officer (Project) office, Room No. 13, First Floor, Block C, 9th Mile Karsaz, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. Bids will be opened the same day at 02:30 PM. A practical tip: Ensure all technical and financial documents, including PEC registration and tax returns, are uploaded in the correct format on the EPADS portal and that the physical Bid Security reaches the office before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
