Providing and Installation of Illumination of DMBs on Runway 35-17(R) at BKIAP Peshawar

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites eligible and licensed contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council to submit bids for the providing and installation of illumination of DMBs installed on Runway 35-17(R) at BKIAP Peshawar. This procurement is specific to electrical and mechanical works at the airport, ensuring proper lighting and safety on the runway. Items being procured: - Supply and laying of Primary AFL Single Core 6 mm2 Cable XLPE/BT/PVC 5 KV for 08 Nos DMBs - Installation of imported Airfield lighting series isolating transformer 6.6A 150W-50Hz (Encapsulated) for 08 Nos - Supply and installation of hot dip galvanized deep base transformer housing locally fabricated, 12 inch dia 24" deep with cover for 08 Nos - Providing and installation of imported Primary Connector Kit / Receptacle KD500 or equivalent for 16 Nos - Providing and installation of imported AFL Secondary Connector Kit / Plug receptacle KD501.1 & KD502.1 or equivalent (male + female) for 08 Nos - Supply and installation of 12V DC LED/SMD Strips with 20 LEDs per strip along with power supply for 08 Nos - Supply of secondary cable / lead, 2-core 4 mm² copper conductor poly chloroprene outer sheathed flexible heat/fire resistant cable as per Pak PWD specifications The scope includes excavation, proper spacing, cable laying in soil with backfilling, installation of transformers, connector kits, and LED lighting strips as per Pak PWD specifications and instructions of the Engineer In-charge. The work must be executed with quality materials, copper conductors, and approved equipment from the PAA's list of manufacturers. Bidders must be registered with PEC in the appropriate category and provide bid security as prescribed. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the PPRA EPADS portal and the original bid security instrument must be submitted physically before the bid opening date. The contract duration is 2 months from the date of written order to commence. Key dates include bid submission and opening on or before the closing date. Bidders are advised to thoroughly review bidding documents, inspect the site at their own risk, and comply with all instructions including submission of CNIC, PEC license, NTN certificate, and affidavit for no blacklisting.
