Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites sealed tenders for the provision of various facilities at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) installations. This procurement is managed by the Office of GE (Air) MM Alam, located at the PAF Base MM Alam. The tender covers a wide range of works including construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services essential for maintaining and upgrading PAF facilities.
The scope includes multiple projects with estimated costs ranging approximately from PKR 1.35 million to PKR 3 million each. These works involve site-specific tasks such as civil construction, electrical wiring, mechanical installations, and plumbing systems. The firm must provide detailed work orders, locations, and satisfactory completion certificates from the user. Experience in these fields and registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories is mandatory.
Eligible bidders must be enlisted with PEC in Category C-2 or above, valid until at least June 2026. Preference is given to firms enlisted with MES in categories A, B, C, D, and E. Firms must also submit a list of personnel, bank statements, NTN certificates, and income tax returns for the last three years. No litigation or adverse reports from government departments or the Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation should exist against the firm.
The tender documents must be submitted to the GE (Air) MM Alam office at PAF Base Mianwali by 01 June 2026 at 1130 hours. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 1200 hours. Bidders should ensure their applications are complete and comply with all requirements to avoid rejection.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and ensure all supporting documents, including PEC registration and tax certificates, are current and properly attested. This will facilitate smooth evaluation and increase the chances of successful bidding.
