Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) Chaklala invites sealed tenders for the provision of certain facilities at the PAF Base located in Chaklala, Punjab. This procurement covers multiple lots with estimated costs ranging from Rs. 12.544 Million to Rs. 57.629 Million, reflecting a significant scale of civil, electrical, and mechanical works. The scope includes construction, electrical installations, and mechanical services essential for the operational readiness of the PAF Base.
Eligible firms must be enlisted with PEC in Category C-5 or above, with valid registration up to June 2026. Preference is given to firms enlisted with MES in Category A, though non-enlisted firms may apply with a refundable 2% bid security. Applicants must provide detailed work orders, project completion certificates, and demonstrate experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works. Firms must also submit personnel details, bank statements, NTN certificates, and income tax returns for the last three years. No outstanding litigation or DI&E recoveries should exist against the firm.
The tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified firms and contractors. Tender submissions must be received at HQ DW&CE (PAF) Chaklala by 13 May 2026 at 1200 hours, with opening scheduled the same day at 1130 hours. Interested parties can contact CMES (PAF) Peshawar or CMES (PAF) Islamabad for further details during working hours from 0715 to 1335.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or CDR is prepared in strict compliance with MES requirements and submitted timely. Also, carefully prepare the technical bid with all required certifications and experience proofs to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to accommodate any unforeseen delays and to ensure participation in this competitive tender.
