Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Ltd (PRAL) invites proposals for the provisioning of SMS Gateway Services. The scope includes broadcasting information to beneficiaries, integration with mobile applications, and providing a single HTTPS API for SMS delivery across all mobile networks in Pakistan, including GB and AJK. The contract duration is one year with a possible extension up to two years based on performance. The SMS Gateway solution must support HTTPS protocols, API documentation, burst throughput, queue management, data encryption at rest and in transit, compliance with PTA data directives, and availability of a disaster recovery site. The service must ensure uninterrupted SMS delivery with high priority alerting and masking options. PRAL intends to engage two qualified SMS Gateway Service Providers evaluated on a least-cost basis, with a 50% SMS volume allocation to the primary and secondary providers respectively.
