Purchase of 4x4 Vehicles Under NCRE Project by Pakistan Meteorological Department Islamabad

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), an executive department under the Ministry of Defence, Islamabad, invites sealed tenders from reputed suppliers and authorized dealers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments for the supply of vehicles under the National Centre for Rain Enhancement (NCRE) project. Items being procured: - 4x4 Double Cabin Vehicle, 2700-2800CC, 4 Cylinder in-line, DOHC 16V VN, Intercooler RHD, 6 Speed Sequential ECT, Common Rail Diesel Engine (1GD-FTV(HI)), Auto Transmission, Power Steering, Cruise Control, Smart Key Function, Immobilizer Key, Climate Control, 18 Inch Alloy (265/60R18), Cool Box, Air Bag System (D+P+KNEE), Jack Knife Key, Fuel Capacity 80 Liter, ABS Brakes + EBD, Driving Side Adjustable Seats, Leather Interior, Multifunctional Display MID (or equivalent), Tow hitch hook or trailer hitch - Quantity: 2 - Complete tool kit including a spare wheel, Jack, Wheel Spanner and other tools as per manufacturer standards - Quantity: 2 The vehicles must meet the detailed technical specifications listed and be suitable for rugged and off-road terrain. Bidders must provide bid security of 2% of the offer in the form of Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of D.G. PMD Islamabad. The quantity may be increased or decreased subject to fund availability. Bids must be submitted online through PPRA E-PADS 2.0 and hard copies delivered to the I&P Section, PMD Headquarters office, Islamabad. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with FBR and authorized dealership certificates. Bids must remain valid for at least 120 days. The procurement will follow the Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure under Rule 36(a) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
