Tender Description

The **Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS)** in Quetta is procuring brand new desktop computers specifically for its Student Labs located at the Takatu Campus. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the computing infrastructure to support academic and research activities. The scope includes supply, installation, commissioning, testing, and training of university personnel on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. The technical specifications require high-performance desktops with Intel Core i7 processors, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 19.5 inch LED screens, wired keyboard and mouse, and a 3-year warranty. The supplier must ensure delivery in installed and workable condition within 90 days of contract award. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). They should have relevant experience supplying similar equipment to public sector universities or autonomous bodies, possess valid income and sales tax registration certificates, and provide a 2% bid security (Earnest Money) with their financial proposal. The technical bid must include an affidavit confirming non-blacklisting and an OEM authorization letter. The deadline for submission of sealed bids is **May 06, 2026, till 3:00 pm** at the Directorate of Procurement, BUITEMS, Airport Road, Baleli, Quetta. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 3:30 pm in the Meeting Room of Jinnah Hall, BUITEMS, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened later. A practical tip for bidders: ensure your bid documents are complete with all mandatory forms, including the OEM authorization and affidavit on non-blacklisting, and submit the technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes within one big envelope as per the single stage two envelope procedure. Late submissions will not be entertained.
