Purchase of Goods Under Framework Contract (Plant & Machinery Items)

The School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, through its Strategic Management Unit, invites bids via the Punjab e-Procurement System under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (PPRA Rules, as amended). Eligible bidders include firms, companies, sole proprietors, and general order suppliers registered with PPRA and engaged in trading with relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Departments (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax/PRA, etc.). The procurement will be executed on a Framework Contract basis with electronic bids uploaded and evaluated as per the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure. Items being procured: - Purchase of Goods Under Framework Contract (Plant & Machinery Items) The procurement involves plant and machinery items as detailed in the bidding documents. Specifications, quantities, quality standards, and detailed schedules are provided in the bidding documents. The contract will be governed by unit rates quoted by the successful bidder on an as-and-when-required basis. Bidders must be registered with FBR and have relevant experience. Bid Security of 5% of the estimated cost must be furnished in the form of CDR, Bank Guarantee, Demand Draft, or Pay Order issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan, in the name of the Project Director, Strategic Management Unit, School Education Department. Joint Ventures are not allowed. Bids must be accompanied by scanned copies of the Bid Security. The bidding documents can be downloaded free of cost from the PPRA website and the School Education Department website. Complete electronic bids must be submitted online at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Key dates include the Technical & Financial Bid Submission on 17th September 2026 at 11:00 AM and the Technical Bid Opening on the same day at 11:30 AM.
