Tender Description
The National University of Science & Technology (NUST) Islamabad invites sealed bids for the purchase of RFID cards and consumable items for the Registrar Directorate. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- Blank Card RFID (7500 Nos)
- Jackets with Ribbons (Red or Equivalent) (7500 Nos)
- Cartridge Ribbon (ED/Secure XID 8100 Printer or Equivalent) (18 Nos)
- Cartridge Retransfer Film (ED/Secure XID 8100 Printer or Equivalent) (16 Nos)
- Cleaning Kit for XID 8100 Printer (1 Qty)
- Cartridge Ribbon (HID FARGO HDP5000 or Equivalent) (8 Nos)
The technical scope includes supply of brand new RFID cards and related consumables compatible with specified printers. Delivery, installation, and commissioning are to be completed within 6 weeks of purchase order issuance at NUST H-12 Campus, Islamabad. Bidders must be registered with FBR, active on the tax payer list, and not blacklisted or under litigation. Bid security of 3% of the quoted value is required in the form of a Pay Order. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract value will be deducted from the final payment and released after warranty period.
Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 30 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Local Purchase Committee and bidders' representatives at the P&LP Directorate Conference Room, NUST H-12 Campus. Bidders should ensure compliance with all bidding document requirements and submit all necessary supporting documents. One practical tip: ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 to avoid disqualification due to late or incomplete bids.
