Purchase and Supply of Medicines and Surgical Items for Social Services Medical Centre Khaplu

The Social Welfare Department Gilgit Baltistan, through its Social Services Medical Centre (SSMC) at DHQ Hospital Khaplu, Ghanche, invites sealed tenders from authorized distributors, suppliers, and well-reputed firms for the purchase and supply of medicines and surgical items. This procurement is funded by Social Welfare LP fund, zakat, and PBM funds for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Medicines and surgical items through zakat and Bait-ul-maal funds - Medicines and surgical items through Social Welfare LP fund The tender covers supply of medicines and surgical items to the Social Services Medical Centre located in Khaplu city. The scope includes ensuring the supply of quality items as prescribed by the concerned doctors and approved by the Social Welfare Officer. Bidders must offer a discount percentage not less than 10% and ensure the same quality and quantity as recommended. Tender documents must be submitted by the deadlines specified, with the first lot closing on 10-09-2026 at 10:30 am and the second lot at 12:00 pm on the same day. Tender opening will follow shortly after submission. A Call Deposit / Security of Rs. 20,500 in the form of demand draft or pay order in the name of Social Welfare Officer SSMC, DHQ Hospital Khaplu, is mandatory with the tender documents. The Social Welfare Officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender as per PPRA Rule-33(1).
