Purchase of Water Treatment Chemicals for HVAC Plant

The Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) based in Islamabad Capital Territory is procuring Water Treatment Chemicals specifically for its HVAC Plant. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and involves the supply of imported water treatment chemicals, descaling chemicals for chillers, and miscellaneous items such as gear oils, vacuum oil, kerosene, and hydrochloric acid. The chemicals must maintain specific water quality parameters including TDS, pH, calcium hardness, alkalinity, and iron levels to ensure efficient operation and protection of the chiller system. The technical scope includes phosphonate-based scale and corrosion inhibitors, polymer-based dispersants, oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides, and descaling agents like sulfamic acid and soda ash. Samples must be approved by PNRA before final delivery. The supplier is required to conduct two monthly visits to monitor water quality and provide additional chemicals at no extra cost if dosage adjustments are necessary to maintain water parameters. Eligible bidders must comply with FBR registration and other legal requirements. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by the deadline of Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The bid security amount is PKR 30,000 in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft, to be submitted physically at the PNRA headquarters in Islamabad before the deadline.
