Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), Islamabad, is inviting sealed bids for the supply of PVMS Drugs as per tender number 2583019/R-2511/380142/A dated 22 Oct 2025. This procurement is specifically for the Pakistan Navy and will be managed through the Naval Residential Complex in Islamabad. The scope includes supply of eight pharmaceutical items listed in Annex A, including Doxycycline 100 mg tablets, Erythromycin syrups and tablets, Rifampicin combinations, and Clotrimazole tubes. All medicines must comply with PVMS/NIV generic nomenclature and have a minimum shelf life of two years or 70% remaining shelf life at delivery, with exceptions for certain items as detailed in the tender. The supplier must ensure proper packaging, labeling, and cold chain compliance where applicable. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), possess valid DGDP registration or be willing to register, and provide all relevant licenses including DRAP and GMP certificates. Firms must submit earnest money as per category and follow the single stage two envelope bidding procedure with separate technical and commercial offers. The tender closing date is **5th May 2026 at 1030 hours**, with bids to be submitted at Tender Box No. 206 at DP (Navy), Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad. Bidders should carefully prepare their technical offers in duplicate and ensure all required documents such as DP-1, DP-2, DP-3 forms, and supporting certificates are included. A practical tip for bidders is to strictly adhere to the technical offer format and avoid any amendments to PVMS numbers or generic names, as non-compliance may lead to rejection. Also, ensure earnest money is submitted in the correct form and amount to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a significant opportunity for pharmaceutical suppliers registered with DGDP and FBR to supply medicines to a prestigious government department with clear terms and conditions outlined in the tender documents.
