Rasing / Construction of CC Paver & Surface Drain at Various Areas of Municipal Committee Ghotki All 14 Wards

The Municipal Committee Ghotki invites bids for the rasing and construction of cement concrete (CC) paver and surface drains at various areas covering all 14 wards of Municipal Committee Ghotki, Sindh. This tender is issued by the Municipal Committee Ghotki and is open to firms licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). Items being procured: - Excavation in foundation of buildings, bridges and other structures including dagbelling, dressing, refilling around structure with excavated earth (3794 P.Cft) - Cement concrete brick or stone ballast 1 1/2" to 2" gauge ratio 1:4:8 (1897 P.Cft) - Pacca brick work in foundation and plinth with cement sand mortar 1:6 (2625 P.Cft) - Cement plaster 1:6 upto 12' height, 1/2" thick (4200 P.Sft) - RCC work in roof slab, beams, columns, rafts, lintels and other structural members (329.79 P.Cft) - Fabrication of deformed steel reinforcement for cement concrete including cutting, bending, laying in position, making joints and fastenings (13.25 P-Cwt) - Filling, watering and ramming earth under floor with new earth (28000 P.Cft) - Preparing sub-base course by supplying and spreading stone metal 1-1/2" to 2" gauge (7000 P.%Cft) - Hard murrum or fine powdery murrum (2380 P.%Cft) - Providing & fixing cement paving blocks flooring 197 x 97 x 60 mm with natural colours (14000 P.Sft) - Cement concrete plain including placing, compacting, finishing and curing (1021.9 P.Cft) The technical scope includes civil works, surface drainage, and CC paver construction across all wards of MC Ghotki. The work must be executed according to PWD/PHE specifications. No premium on non-schedule items will be paid. Materials must be sourced from approved quarries. The contractor must have relevant PEC registration, FBR and SRB active tax status, and at least 5 years of experience with similar nature works. The average annual turnover should be equivalent to the bid cost over the last five financial years. Bank statements for the last 3 years and audited reports from ICAP registered firms are required. The bid validity period is 90 days. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of pay order/call deposit/bank guarantee. Bids must be submitted electronically on EPADS and original tender fee and bid security must be delivered before the deadline. The deadline for submission is 05th August 2026 at 09:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:00 AM in the office of Municipal Committee Ghotki near Public Park/Sarkari Bagh. The procurement method is single stage two envelope. The contract duration is 24 months from the date of commencement. Liquidated damages are 0.35% of estimated cost per day of delay. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all technical documents are numbered and attested by the firm owner with stamp. Submit an original affidavit on judicial stamp paper confirming the firm and its employees have never been blacklisted. This is mandatory to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully prepare the bid security and ensure timely submission of all required documents to avoid rejection for non-responsiveness.
