Tender Description
The University of Sindh, Jamshoro invites sealed tenders for the re-construction of fallen down portions of brick masonry boundary wall at Sachal Sarmast Boys Hostel, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. This procurement is specifically for civil works involving brick masonry and RCC structural elements in Jamshoro city under the University of Sindh authority.
Items being procured:
- Excavation in soft rock up to 5ft depth
- Cement concrete plain 1:4:8
- Pacca brick work cement and mortar foundation
- RCC work in roof slab, beams, columns, lintels
- Fabrication of mild steel reinforcement (Deformed Bar, Grade-60)
- Pacca brick work cement and mortar ground floor
- Cement plaster 3/8" thick
- Cement plaster 1/2" thick
The scope includes reconstruction of the boundary wall including supporting brick masonry columns at the backside of Latif Boys Hostel as well. The work is to be executed as per Composite Schedule of Rates (CSR) 2024 on a percentage rate basis. The estimated cost is approximately **PKR 2,506,005** with a bid security of **PKR 125,300** (5% of estimated cost) and tender fee of **PKR 3,000**.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed similar works of at least 80% of the estimated cost or two works each of 50% cost in the last five years. Bidders must be registered with PEC if the work exceeds Rs. 4 million, active taxpayers, and not blacklisted by any procuring agency or SPPRA. Financial turnover must be equivalent to the cost of work in the last five years.
Bidding documents are available on Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal and University website upon payment of the tender fee. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by **29-09-2026 at 10:30 AM**. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at the office of the Project Director, Sindh University Engineering Wing, Jamshoro.
The contract duration is 2 months from the commencement date. Earnest money in the form of pay order or demand draft must be submitted before bid opening. Abnormal rates will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPP Rules.
