Annual Contract for Recycling of HT/LT Mixed Damaged Copper Winding Scrap into New Paper Cover Copper Strips and Enamel Copper Wire

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites bids for the Annual Contract for Recycling of HT/LT Mixed Damaged Copper Winding Scrap into new materials for the financial year 2026-27. This contract is issued by the Director (Procurement) Distribution MEPCO Limited, located at MEPCO Complex, WAPDA Colony Khanewal Road, Multan. Items being procured: - Paper Cover Copper Strip 4x5 mm (50 & 200 KVA) - 18468 Kg - Enameled Copper Wire 0.6 mm (25 KVA) - 16732 Kg - Enameled Copper Wire 0.8 mm (50 KVA) - 20341 Kg - Enameled Copper Wire 1.1 mm (100 KVA) - 28410 Kg The technical scope requires adherence to WAPDA/NTDC specifications BS-4653-II:70 (Amended to-date) for paper cover copper strips and enamel copper wire, and BS-4516-Part-1 1969 (Amended to-date) for other materials. The contract is based on an "As is where is" basis with free pick and drop at concerned regional stores. The quoted rates must be in local currency inclusive of all taxes and duties but exclusive of General Sales Tax. Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS Version 2.0 and submit electronic bids through the EPADS portal. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Deposit-at-Call, Bank Draft, Pay Order, or Bid Guarantee from any scheduled bank in Pakistan must be submitted in original with the bid.
