Registration/Selection of Auctioneer for Public Auctions of Unserviceable Government Items

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Regional Tax Office, Peshawar under the Federal Board of Revenue invites applications from experienced, reputed, and income tax/sales tax registered Auctioneers / Auction Firms for empanelment as the official government auctioneer for a period of five years. The auctioneer will conduct public auctions of unserviceable, obsolete, and scrap government items on an 'as-is, where-is' basis. Items involved include vehicles, IT equipment, machinery, office furniture, acetate tow, cigarette paper, and others. Eligibility criteria require applicants to be Pakistani citizens with valid CNIC, NTN, and STRN. They must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR and relevant provincial revenue authority. A minimum of five years documented experience in conducting public auctions for government sectors, ministries, or autonomous public bodies with good business reputation is mandatory. Applicants must be at least 30 years old, well versed in computer knowledge, and have an established office in Pakistan with proper documentation such as lease agreement, rent deed, and paid electricity bill. Financial soundness certified by a scheduled bank, recommendation and membership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and no blacklisting by any government or procurement regulatory authority are also required. Applications must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 30.09.2026 at 11:00 am. Late and incomplete submissions will not be accepted. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications. The selected party will provide a surety bond on the prescribed judicial form and a bank guarantee of Rs. 500,000 refundable upon satisfactory completion of registration conditions. Bidders should ensure all required documents and credentials are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
