Rehabilitation of Baggage Weighing Scale System at Check-In Counters CI-13, CI-26 and CI-27 at International Lounges, Jinnah International Airport Karachi

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Karachi invites bids for the rehabilitation of the baggage weighing scale system at check-in counters CI-13, CI-26, and CI-27 located at the International Lounges of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. This procurement is for mechanical works services involving replacement and repair of defective components to ensure fully operational weighing scale systems. Items being procured: - Replacement of defective Digital Staff & Passenger Display compatible with existing system - Replacement of conveyor belts (Grip Face & Smooth Face) and Roller Chain - Provision and installation of 4-core load cell cable, contactor 32A (48V), 3-pole, 4A breaker, SMPS terminal block and associated electrical components - Installation of GI flexible conduit, mounting brackets, fasteners, and accessories - Complete wiring, alignment, calibration, and functional testing of weighing scale system - Provision of all materials, consumables, tools, labour, and transportation - Commissioning and handing over in fully operational condition to the satisfaction of Engineer Incharge The technical scope includes inspection, dismantling, repair, replacement, calibration, and commissioning of electronic digital baggage weighing scale systems with digital LED/LCD displays, load cells, power supply units, wiring, and mechanical structures. Bidders must be licensed constructors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialization code ME-06. Valid NTN, Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status, and bid security of PKR 20,000/- are mandatory. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the PPRA EPADS portal and physically at the office of Sr. Joint Director (Mechanical), Room #4051, Level-IV, East Side, JIAP Karachi before the closing date. Original bid security instruments must be submitted in sealed envelopes before bid opening. Technical and financial bids will be opened electronically 30 minutes after bid closing.
