Tender Description
District Council Vehari invites electronic bids for the rehabilitation and construction of a metalled road from Railway Crossing to ADLG Office via Railway Station, DSP Chowk, Sabzi Mandi, Ghalla Mandi Mailsi covering a distance of 1.308 Km. This procurement is conducted under the Single Stage–Two Envelope (SSTE) procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, amended to date, through the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP).
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation and Construction of Metalled Road (1.308 Km) from Railway Crossing to ADLG Office via Railway Station, DSP Chowk, Sabzi Mandi, Ghalla Mandi Mailsi
The project requires firms/contractors to possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the Financial Year 2026-27 in the relevant category or codes specified against the work. All bidders must fulfill eligibility and technical qualification requirements as prescribed in the bidding documents. The procurement process will be conducted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System in strict accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules and PPRA regulations.
Bidders must submit a bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost through a Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted. The technical proposal and financial proposal must be submitted electronically within the prescribed deadline.
The submission deadline is 19-9-2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bid opening scheduled for 19-9-2026 at 11:30 AM. Bids submitted manually, by email, courier, or post will not be entertained. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules.
