Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites qualified vendors for the rehabilitation of the electric system at its Aviation Facility located at Peshawar Airport. This procurement is a turn-key project requiring the vendor to provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The scope includes detailed electrical works across multiple panels and equipment to ensure full operational safety and compliance with PSO standards.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation of electric system (4 jobs)
- Insulation resistance testing of cables for receipt motor, delivery motor, firefighting water motor, and pole lights (1 job)
- Inspection/testing of grounding and earthing system (1 job)
- Development of line diagrams for electric panels 1, 3, and 4 in AutoCAD 2007 format (3 jobs)
- Development of electric layout of the facility with detailed cable and equipment information, including 3 hard copies on A1 size (1 job)
- Dressing, tagging, and identification of cables, breakers, connectors inside panels 1, 3, 4, and 7 (4 jobs)
- Fabrication and installation of protective cover/acrylic shield for bus bars and bare cables in main electric panel 1 (1 job)
- Removal of unused cables, breakers, and fittings from main electric panel 1 (1 job)
- Termination of cables with cable lugs in panels 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7 (5 jobs)
- Fabrication and installation of bottom metal plate for electric panel 1 (1 job)
- Providing and installation of cable glands for 6 electric panels (20 jobs)
- Providing and installation of digital voltage LED indicators on panels (3 jobs)
- Providing and installation of digital amp meters on panels (3 jobs)
- Providing and installation of digital volt meters on panels (3 jobs)
- Fixing of energy meter in panel with conduits and cable glands (1 job)
- Providing and installation of residual current devices and earth leakage circuit breakers (4 jobs)
- Providing and installation of hour meters for motors of receipt & delivery, air compressor, and firefighting pumps (4 jobs)
The technical scope requires the vendor to conduct a pre-mobilization meeting to understand site requirements. All work must comply with PSO's HSE policies and safety standards. The facility operates 24/7 with backup power, and any isolation of equipment beyond one hour requires alternate arrangements. The vendor must provide an electric supervisor with an electric diploma or engineering qualification and at least one year of relevant experience. The project duration is 60 days from the issuance of the service order, with penalties for delays. All relevant documents such as CNIC, police verification, and company cards must be submitted prior to site visits.
