Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites tenders from Engineering Firms and Contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for the rehabilitation and improvement of various roads in Okara District, Punjab. Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation / Improvement of Okara Pipli Pahar road (Section from Chungi No.7 to Okara Bypass) Length = 1.75 km
- Construction / Rehabilitation / Improvement of Gogera Jandraka road to Thatha Sarang Ka via Mouza Massan Ka Tehsil and District Okara
- Rehabilitation / Repair of road from Basirpur Muhammad Nagar road at Awan Kot to Chak Muhammad Yar (Length = 0.75 Km) Tehsil Depalpur District Okara
- Rehabilitation / Repair of road from Qutab Pura to Village Qadirabad (Length = 1.10 Km) Tehsil Depalpur District Okara
The technical scope includes road rehabilitation and repair works with completion periods ranging from 6 to 8 months. Contractors must submit bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost through digital online payment via Punjab E-Procurement System. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted. Performance Guarantee of 10% is mandatory for all successful bidders. Bidders must quote item rates against each item and total amount in the financial proposal. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders at the office of the Commissioning Officer Sahiwal Division, Sahiwal.
