Tender Description
The National Archives of Pakistan (NAP) invites qualified contractors to participate in the procurement for the Rehabilitation and Upgradation of the Regional Office Building, National Archives of Pakistan, Karachi, involving comprehensive civil and electrical works. This tender is issued by the National Archives of Pakistan (NAP) based in Islamabad Capital Territory, with the project execution site at Block-N, Pak-Secretariat, Islamabad.
Items being procured include extensive civil works such as providing and fixing porcelain floor tiles, skirting, ceramic tiles in bathrooms, kitchen marble tops, false ceilings, front elevation stone work, plumbing, and painting works. Doors and windows include supply and installation of aluminium doors, windows with tinted glass, ventilators, and PVC/uPVC and steel doors. Electrical works cover installation of 1.5-ton imported air conditioners, LED TVs and lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, electrical wiring, fixtures, and bathroom accessories. Furniture items include working tables, cabinets, chairs, sofas, and center tables.
The scope also covers dismantling and removal of existing structures, sewerage line installation, tuff pavers, green area plantation, and a comprehensive electrical system installation including general wiring, exhibition hall wiring, power point wiring, switchgear, lighting fixtures, solar energy system, and earthing.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with NADRA, FBR (NTN and GSTN), PEC, and other relevant authorities. Bidders must have relevant experience in similar rehabilitation and electrical works, with a valid PEC category and FBR/ATL registration. Bid security in the form of a Pay Order is mandatory.
Key dates include the bid submission deadline on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM via the EPADS v2.0 e-procurement portal. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS v2.0 and review all bidding documents carefully.
