Renewal of Netbackup Solution and Support Services for DGIP Islamabad

The Directorate General Immigration and Passports (DGIP), Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, invites bids for the renewal of Netbackup solution and support services for a period of three years at DGIP Headquarters in Islamabad. This procurement covers comprehensive on-site support, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, product patching, and 24/7/365 support to ensure uninterrupted and smooth functioning of the Netbackup solution. The scope includes providing training and certification for three local personnel on backup and recovery products. The vendor is responsible for maintaining equipment in optimal working condition, updating software timely, and conducting quarterly preventive maintenance visits along with emergency visits as required. Payment for software licenses will be made in full upon successful delivery, installation, activation, and acceptance of licenses valid for three years. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). They should have at least five years of experience supplying related IT products, with a minimum of three completed IT equipment supply/install/support projects for government or semi-government entities. Financial soundness with a minimum credit amount of PKR 30 million is required. Bidders must submit a bid security of PKR 837,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or similar instrument. The deadline for bid submission is 3:00 PM on June 29, 2026, with electronic bids submitted through EPADS and a hard copy of the technical proposal and original bid security physically delivered to DGIP Headquarters. The technical proposal must be signed, stamped, and paginated. Financial proposals will remain electronically locked until technical evaluation is complete.
