Tender Description
The Federal Directorate of Education, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Islamabad is inviting bids through the E-PADS platform for the renovation of laboratories in educational institutions under its jurisdiction. This procurement is specifically for the renovation works of science laboratories to enhance educational infrastructure and facilities in Islamabad.

The scope of work includes comprehensive renovation activities to upgrade the laboratories, ensuring compliance with modern standards and safety requirements. The project demands contractors enlisted with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding valid licenses in the appropriate category. The estimated cost of the project is a substantial **PKR 291,000,921**, reflecting the scale and quality expected.
Interested firms must submit their technical and financial proposals strictly through the E-PADS version 2.0 portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk). Manual submissions are not accepted. Bid security of **PKR 10,000,000** in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the Director (P&D), Federal Directorate of Education, must accompany the bid. Original CDR must be submitted with the technical proposal; cash or cheque payments are not accepted.
The deadline for receiving tenders is **7th September 2026 at 2:00 pm**, with opening scheduled for the same day at 2:30 pm. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 28th August 2026 at 11:00 am in the Committee Room of PMU M/o FE&PT, Old PMI Building, G-7/1 Islamabad for clarifications.
Firms are advised to ensure all documentary evidence as per bidding instructions is complete to avoid rejection. The procuring agency reserves the right to adjust the number of laboratories based on budget availability and may reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
