Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Swat-1 is procuring repair and maintenance services for electrical and mechanical works in existing water supply schemes for the fiscal year 2026-27. This tender covers two sub-divisions: Saidu Sharif-I and Saidu Sharif-II, with estimated costs of **PKR 7 million** and **PKR 11 million** respectively. The scope includes maintenance of electrical installations, standby pumping machinery, transformers, and mechanical repairs to ensure continuous water supply.
Eligible firms must have specialization codes CE-09, EE-04, EE-05, ME-05, ME-07, and EE-11 as per KPPRA procurement rules 2014. Contractors should be registered with the KP Revenue Authority and possess a valid Electric Inspector Certificate. Bidders must also demonstrate the availability of standby pumping machinery and transformers of various KVA capacities. The bidder is required to provide an undertaking to repair any electric motor, transformer, or pumping machinery within two days if needed.
The tender follows a single stage single envelope procedure through EPADS. The last date for bid submission is **16-07-2026 at 11:00 AM** via courier, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day in the presence of government contractors or their authorized representatives. Earnest money with stamp duty is required as per the estimated cost for each sub-division.
Bidders should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and comply with KPPRA rules and SBD. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the bid security and detailed rate analysis, especially if quoting rates more than 20% below the engineer’s estimate, to avoid disqualification.
