Tender Description

The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, located at Court Road, Karachi, is procuring comprehensive repair and maintenance services for machinery and HVAC equipment for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers a wide range of technical services including maintenance and repair of split and window type air conditioners of various capacities, operation and servicing of power gensets ranging from 200 KVA to 1250 KVA, maintenance of ATS panels, power factor plants, transformers, HT & LT panels, HVAC chillers, cooling towers, chilled water pumps, air handling units, fan coil units, ventilation systems, package units, bus risers, passenger elevators and escalators, walkthrough gates, boom lifts for glass cleaning, fire fighting systems, water supply pumping systems, chandeliers, flood gates, and annual fine tuning of chillers. The scope also includes supply and replacement of HVAC consumables such as air filters, chemicals for chillers, cooling coils, fan motors, valves, and other related parts. Eligible bidders must have a minimum of five years relevant experience, valid registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 100 million, and valid PEC registration where applicable. Bidders must submit earnest money amounting to 5% of the total bid value and comply with all tax and professional certification requirements. The procurement follows a single stage, single envelope procedure through the e-Pak acquisition and disposal system (EPADS). Tender documents can be obtained upon payment of Rs. 3000 per item by 08.07.2026 at 10:00 AM. The original bid security and tender fee must be submitted physically by 10:30 AM on 08.07.2026. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the Committee Room of the Secretariat. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all applicable taxes. The procurement committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents including technical compliance sheets, tax returns, bank statements, and performance certificates are complete and properly signed and stamped. Incomplete submissions or failure to provide earnest money will lead to disqualification. Timely submission and adherence to the bid validity period of 90 days are critical for successful participation.
