Tender Description
This tender invites qualified suppliers and service providers in Karachi to undertake the repair and maintenance of the National Telecommunication Corporation's Optical Fiber Network. The scope covers multiple fiber sections including 12x F, 18x F, and 96x F cables running from SSUET to Hassan Square under the K-IV Project. The work demands technical expertise in fiber optic systems to ensure network reliability and performance across critical communication links in Karachi.
The project involves detailed inspection, fault detection, and restoration activities on the fiber optic infrastructure. Given the urban setting, contractors must navigate logistical challenges such as traffic and site accessibility while maintaining safety and minimizing service disruption. The network's integrity is vital for NTC's operations, requiring adherence to stringent quality standards and timely execution.
Bidders should ensure compliance with FBR registration and maintain an active ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to verify PEC category requirements relevant to telecommunication services and confirm the availability of Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender conditions. Staying updated on FBR and PEC guidelines will smoothen the qualification process.
The submission deadline is set for 10th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bids opening at 11:30 AM the same day. All bids must be submitted through the EPADS online portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Physical or manual submissions are not accepted. The tender documents and detailed terms are accessible on the EPADS platform.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all mandatory documents and that your EPADS profile is fully updated. Missing the specific stamp duty or Earnest Money details often leads to disqualification, so double-check these before submission.
