Tender Description
The Center of Excellence China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CoE-CPEC) Islamabad invites sealed bids from eligible, experienced, and reputable firms for the repair, maintenance, and renovation of office building, furniture, fixtures, and plant machinery/equipment. This tender is specifically issued by the CoE-CPEC based in Islamabad Capital Territory and requires firms to have established offices in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. The procurement is under a three-year open framework agreement following the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- Repair, maintenance and renovation of office building
- Furniture and fixtures
- Plant and machinery/equipment
The scope covers all related services for repair, maintenance, and renovation of the office infrastructure, including furniture and fixtures as well as plant and machinery or equipment. The tender requires submission of a technical proposal in a single envelope by the deadline. Firms must be registered with the tax authorities, hold valid sales tax and NTN registrations, and be registered with PEC in relevant categories. Experience of at least three years in similar services is mandatory along with submission of bid security in the form of a call deposit receipt of Rs. 20,000 in favor of Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Islamabad.
The tender opening will be held on July 29, 2026, at 11:30 am in the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee CoE-CPEC. Bidders are advised to ensure their bids comply fully with the requirements, including submission of an undertaking on legal e-stamp paper confirming the firm is not blacklisted by any government or private organization in Pakistan. The bid validity period is ninety days from the date of opening.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical proposal ensuring all required documents such as GST, NTN certificates, PEC registration, and previous work completion certificates are attached. Overwriting or cutting in quotations will lead to disqualification. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute issues. This tender offers a significant opportunity for firms specializing in building maintenance, furniture refurbishment, and plant machinery servicing within the Islamabad Capital Territory.
Contact details and further information can be found on the official websites www.ppra.gov.pk and www.pide.org.pk. The earnest money must be submitted in hard form as a call deposit receipt. The CoE-CPEC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
