Tender Description
Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi invites bids for repair and maintenance services of Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) systems. This tender covers comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance of UPS units, batteries, and associated systems installed across DUHS campuses in Karachi, ensuring reliable power backup for critical healthcare and academic equipment.
The scope includes routine inspections, cleaning, calibration, battery testing, emergency breakdown response, and replacement of defective parts. Qualified engineers and technicians must respond within 2 to 4 hours on working days and provide 24/7 support including Sundays and public holidays. Monthly and quarterly maintenance reports are mandatory, with strict adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. The contractor must maintain service logs, provide backup equipment during repairs, and guarantee a minimum 95% uptime.
Bidders should hold valid PEC registration, active FBR/ATL status, and meet the 2025-26 compliance requirements including submission of bid security and performance guarantees. The contract is initially for 12 months with possible extension based on performance. All bids must be submitted online via EPADS portal before the deadline.
The submission deadline is set for 5th January 2026, with bid opening conducted online. Physical documents including bid security and tender fee must be delivered to DUHS Admin Block, 5th Floor, DMC Campus, Baba-e-Urdu Road, Karachi.
