Tender Description
Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites pre-qualification proposals from experienced firms, contractors, and suppliers for a range of categories under an open framework agreement for the PMDC Salt Mines at Jatta Bahadur Khel, Karak. This opportunity is ideal for vendors looking to provide ongoing services and supplies to a major public sector mining operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Items being procured:
- Lot 01: General Repair/Maintenance, Road Repairs, Civil Works and other day-to-day operational activities
- Lot 02: Mine Development Activities
- Lot 03: Repair/Maintenance of Vehicles including supply of parts/tires
- Lot 04: Stationary Items, office supplies, cartridges, printing of stationary, pana-flex, banners, boards, book binding, compiling etc. and other consumables
- Lot 05: Computer Hardware & Accessories (IT Equipment), Networking, Communication Tools, Security Equipment, Cameras/CCTV, and repair/maintenance servicing thereof
- Lot 06: Plumbing and Hardware works/items
The technical scope covers a broad spectrum, from civil and road repairs to specialized mine development, vehicle maintenance, IT and security equipment, and comprehensive office and plumbing supplies. All supplied items must be brand new, original, and covered by standard warranties where applicable. Vendors may apply for one or more lots, but must demonstrate relevant experience for each category.
Eligibility requirements include company registration, sales tax and NTN certificates, a detailed company profile, and affidavits regarding litigation and blacklisting status. Financial soundness and a proven track record of similar contracts are essential. Firms with a setup or office in Peshawar and a minimum staff of five will receive additional marks in the evaluation.
Proposals must be submitted in hard copy by **07.09.2026 at 11:00 AM** at PMDC Salt Mines Jatta Bahadur Khel (Karak). Opening will take place the same day at 11:30 AM. Pre-qualified firms will be eligible for a two-year framework agreement, extendable for one year, and must deposit **PKR 50,000** security per category if selected.
