Repair, Replacement, Provision and Installation of Aluminium Windows

The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) located at Quaid-i-Azam University Campus, Islamabad Capital Territory, is procuring works for the repair, replacement, provision, and installation of aluminium windows. This procurement is specifically for the fiscal year 2025-26 and involves dismantling and safe removal of existing windows and grills, re-fixation of grills, plaster and whitewash work, resizing and re-fixing wall paneling, and installation of new aluminium windows with specified materials. The technical scope includes removal of old windows and grills at any floor or height, ensuring no structural damage to walls, and re-fixing grills outside the windows. The new windows will be fabricated from heavy-duty extruded aluminium sections with a minimum thickness of 1.6mm, champaign color, and fitted with 6mm plain glass and window nets. Additional finishing works such as plaster and whitewash will be done to match existing surfaces. The contractor is responsible for all safety measures including scaffolding and harnesses. Eligible bidders must have verifiable experience of at least three years, be registered with FBR and PEC as applicable, and comply with all legal and technical requirements. Joint ventures are not allowed for this tender. The bid security must be submitted as a Call at Deposit.
