Repair and Replacement of Parts for Glacial Lake Outburst Flood Early Warning System

Pakistan Meteorological Department invites applications for pre-qualification of firms registered with sales tax and income tax departments and active on the Active Tax Payer List (ATL) of FBR for the repair and replacement of parts for the Glacial Lake Outburst Flood Early Warning System (GLOF EWS) during the financial year 2026-27 under PPRA rules. Items being procured: - Repair and replacement of parts for Glacial Lake Outburst Flood Early Warning System (GLOF EWS) The pre-qualification process requires firms to submit documents including firm name, postal address, phone and fax numbers, experience record, current works in progress, and financial capabilities such as bank statements for the last two years, bank guarantees, and credit/loan limits. The bidding process will be conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure. Sealed proposals must be submitted by 01 October 2026 by 10:30 AM via PPRA EPADS 2.0, with opening of proposals at 11:00 AM on the same day at PMD Headquarters, H-8/2 Islamabad. Firms are directed to quote their bids online through PPRA E-PADS 2.0 and also submit original hard copies to the I&P Section, PMD Headquarters office, Islamabad. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in accordance with PPRA Rules 2004.
