Tender Description
The Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA)-Customs Islamabad is seeking pre-qualification from experienced workshops for the repair and maintenance of vehicles of various makes and models including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, etc. This procurement is specific to Islamabad and covers a comprehensive scope including wheel alignment, balancing, electric work, and the purchase of tyres and other spare parts.
The technical scope requires workshops to demonstrate capability in engine overhauling, denting, painting, and handling of software and electronic technology related to vehicles. The workshop must have sufficient parking and inspection areas, availability of spare parts, and the ability to perform wheel balancing and alignment. GST/NTN registration and a no-blacklisting certificate on judicial stamp paper are mandatory. The workshop must also commit to returning old parts when replaced and be responsible for any faults during the warranty period.
Eligible firms should have relevant experience, proper personnel, equipment, and plant capabilities. The selection criteria include experience, machinery and tools, technical staff capability, parking and repair space, and financial position with a minimum qualifying score of 70 marks. Bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL and submit a pay order of Rs.23,000 as a call deposit.
Applications must be submitted online via the PPRA E-PADS portal and hard copies with original documents and pay order by 08-05-2026 at 12:00 PM. The technical committee will conduct physical visits to workshops before prequalification. The tender opening will be on the same day at 2:00 PM.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical and financial documents are complete and accurate, and to prepare for the physical inspection by the committee, as this is crucial for scoring and qualification.
