Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites proposals and sealed quotations from well reputed Sub-Contractors or Firms experienced in Marine Insulation and Cladding Work onboard ships. The procurement involves repairs and replacement of damaged or defective cladding work on exhaust pipes of Main Engines, Diesel Generators, and Gas Turbines, along with installation of decorative lining and perforated sheets on bulkheads of Zone 052 AFT, repair of Party Station, and Sickbay Corridor.
Items being procured:
- Repairs / Replacement of Damaged / Defective area of Cladding work on Exhaust Pipes of ME(s), DG(s) & Gas Turbines
- Installation of Decorative Lining / Perforated Sheets on Bulkheads of Zone 052 AFT
- Repair Party Station and Sickbay Corridor
The detailed specifications are available in the tender documents at the office of Development & Sub-Contract, Works Office Building, Ship Planning Hall (SB Division). Tender documents can be obtained from the same office on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 0900 to 1600 hours upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs.3000. The bid validity is 60 days.
Bidders must submit their offers before 1100 hours on 09-10-2026 in a single package envelope containing two separate sealed envelopes: one for the Technical Proposal including Pre-Qualification form with signature and office stamp, and the other for the Commercial / Financial Proposal. The Technical Proposal will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders. The Commercial Proposal will be opened later only for technically qualified bidders.
Eligibility requires relevant experience in marine cladding works. Bidders should ensure timely collection of tender documents and submission of bids.
