Replacement of Centrifugal Pumps at Pump Station Located at St No 24, G-13/2, Islamabad

The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (Ministry of Housing and Works) Islamabad invites sealed bids for the Replacement of Centrifugal Pumps at Pump Station Located at St No 24, G-13/2, Islamabad. This procurement involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 4 Nos Centrifugal Pump Sets each with a flow rate of 4 Cusec, 60 Hp Motor (ABB/WEG) Minimum Class IE3, Cast Iron Body and Bronze Impeller Pumps (KSB/Groundfos), and Soft Starter (ABB/WEG) based MCU. The scope includes modification of existing suction and delivery manifolds, installation of Flexible Bellow, Gate Valves, Non-Return Valves, matching Reducers/Expanders, and Pressure Gauges. Also included is the supply and installation of a Main Distribution Board (MDB) with all necessary electrical terminations and cabling, and a dedicated Chemical/Copper Plate Earthing System for the MDB and pumping units. The work requires dismantling and removal of existing pumping sets and piping, reconstruction of RCC foundations with metal base plates, and all labor, materials, transportation, tools, and plant for a complete operational installation. Items being procured: - 4 Nos Centrifugal Pumps Sets - 1 Main Distribution Board (MDB) - 1 Earthing System for MDB and pump motor sets Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) is mandatory prior to site delivery, with all costs and logistics for FGEHA officials to witness the testing borne by the bidder. Manufacturing documents for pumps, motors, and soft starters must be produced. The contract includes provision of a Honda 70cc motorcycle for employer use, with maintenance and transfer obligations on the contractor. Eligibility requires PEC registration in category C-5 or above with relevant codes, FBR registration and ATL listing, non-blacklisting affidavit, minimum experience with similar works valued at Rs. 20 million each, average annual turnover of Rs. 25 million, and qualified technical staff. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by September 8, 2026, 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM the same day. Bid security and performance guarantees are required as per bidding documents. Bidders are advised to conduct a site visit and obtain a certificate from the Maintenance Directorate. The contract will be awarded on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Technical and financial compliance with the bidding documents is mandatory. The successful bidder will provide a 1-year post-completion warranty and ensure all works meet the satisfaction of the Engineer In-Charge.
