Tender Description
Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for the replacement of damaged or rusted elliptical tubes of effective bodies of defective distribution transformers. This procurement is being conducted through a single stage one envelope bidding procedure from registered and pre-qualified firms with a sound track record in manufacturing new transformers. Only firms experienced in replacing and repairing imperable transformers with DISCOs, NTDC, or WAPDA are eligible to participate, and all work must comply with WAPDA/GEPCO specifications. The delivery location is the GEPCO 132-KV Grid Station, Shahenabad, Gujranwala.
Items being procured:
- Replacement of damaged/rusted elliptical tubes of 200-KVA distribution transformers (Qty: 100)
- Replacement of defective bodies of 200-KVA and 100-KVA distribution transformers (Qty: 100)
- Distribution transformer T/Fs as per WAPDA/GEPCO specifications (100-KVA, Qty: 100)
All bidders must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR and provide a valid Bid Guarantee/CDR of at least 180,000 PKR, valid for 150 days from any scheduled bank of Pakistan. The bid shall remain valid for acceptance for 120 days from the tender opening date. Conditional tenders or those without the required Bid Guarantee will not be accepted. Tender documents are available on the E-PADS/PPRA website (www.ppra.org.pk), and bids must be submitted both electronically via E-PADS and manually to the office of the undersigned. The tender submission deadline is **04-09-2026 at 11:00 AM**, and the opening will take place the same day at **11:30 AM**.
GEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
