Replacement of Sui Gas Lines at National Institute of Health Islamabad

The National Institute of Health Islamabad is procuring the replacement of existing Sui gas lines installed at its premises in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. This project involves the supply and installation of 2-inch diameter MDPE gas pipelines for a total length of 800 meters, including associated service lines, fittings, regulators, testing, commissioning, and restoration works. The scope covers excavation and trenching in both hard and soft soil, pipe laying, jointing using electro-fusion or butt-fusion techniques by certified welders, bedding and backfilling with approved materials, and surface restoration to original or better condition. Service lines of 1¼ inch diameter totaling 250 meters will also be installed with all fittings and valves strictly as per SNGPL standards and drawings. Eligible contractors must hold a valid PEC license of category C6 or above and be approved SNGPL contractors with relevant certifications including fusion welder qualifications. Bidders should have completed at least three similar projects worth a minimum of one million PKR each in the last five years. Active NTN and STRN registration with FBR is mandatory along with an affidavit confirming the firm is not blacklisted. Earnest money of Rs. 100,000 in the form of a bank draft or call deposit is required with the bid, and a 10% performance security will be submitted by the successful bidder. The tender follows a single stage single envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA rules. The last date for submission is 21st May 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of the Director Purchase and Procurement, NIH Islamabad. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Nutrition Division. Tender documents can be obtained from the Finance Division upon payment of Rs. 1000 as a non-refundable fee.
