Replacement/Upgradation of Seiscomp-Pro Software or Equivalent for National Seismic Processing and Decision-Support Environment

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Islamabad invites bids from reputable IT firms, companies, service providers, contractors, government and semi-government organizations, suppliers, and vendors duly registered with relevant government agencies and active tax payers for the replacement or upgradation of Seiscomp-Pro software or an equivalent solution for the National Seismic Processing and Decision-Support Environment. Items being procured: - Replacement/Upgradation of Seiscomp-Pro Software or Equivalent for National Seismic Processing and Decision-Support Environment The procurement follows a single stage two envelope procedure under Rule 36(b) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Detailed bidding documents are available free of cost on the PMD website and PPRA EPADS portal. Bidders must submit proposals through EPADS 2.0 by 6th October 2026 at 10:30 AM PST. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM PST in the presence of participants or their authorized representatives. Bid security of Rs. 3,000,000/- in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order in favor of the Director General, Pakistan Meteorological Department, Islamabad, must accompany the bid. Bids without the required bid security will not be entertained. The successful bidder will also provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the work order value in favor of the Director General PMD until completion of the contract or warranty period. All firms are directed to quote their bids online through the PPRA E-PADS 2.0 portal as well as submit original bids in hard form to the Indent and Purchase Section at PMD Headquarters, Islamabad.
