Tender Description
The Ministry of Energy (Power Division) is implementing the Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) with financial assistance from the World Bank under IBRD:93180. The project aims to achieve affordable electricity, energy security, and sustainability nationwide.
In this context, the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) intends to hire consultancy services for PR & Media Relations to drive public awareness and ensure nationwide compliance for the Power Subsidy Reform — National CNIC-to-Meter Linkage Campaign.
Items being procured:
- PR & Media Relations consultancy services
The consultancy will cover public relations, media relations, and communications to support the campaign. Interested firms must demonstrate a minimum of ten years' continuous documented experience in public relations, media relations, or communications. They should have completed at least three large-scale PR campaigns in the public or private sector, including at least one nationwide campaign and one targeting low-income or underserved populations. Experience managing media monitoring across print, broadcast, and digital media in Pakistan is required, along with demonstrated experience managing reactive media such as rebuttals and crisis communications for government or large institutional clients.
