Restoration and Construction Works for Flood Protection and Canal Embankments in Districts Lasbela, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, and Sohbatpur

The Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) Component-I under the Government of Pakistan invites experienced contractors for multiple construction works focused on flood protection and canal embankment restoration in Balochistan province, specifically in the districts of Lasbela, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, and Sohbatpur. Items being procured: - Restoration of Tharra, Gegoo, Shuri & Faizo Flood Protection Bund (FPB) District Lasbela Package-II (Lot-I) - Restoration / Strengthening of flood embankment of Main Rabi Canal and Rabi Canal-II District Naseerabad Package-IV (Lot-I) - Rehabilitation of Main Drains Rupa, Umrani and Magsi Drains Districts Naseerabad & Jaffarabad Package-IV (Lot-II) - Construction of 2 Nos VRBs at Different Reaches of Uch Canal District Sohbatpur Package-5 (Lot-I) - Rehabilitation of Flood Protection Bund for Sohbatpur Town, Restoration / Strengthening of Embankment Hardin Main Drain (RD.0-62) & VRBs and Reconstruction of Flood Protection Bund near Zain-ul-Abideen Khan Khosa District Sohbatpur Package-5 (Lot-II) The technical scope covers civil construction works including restoration, strengthening, rehabilitation, and construction of flood protection bunds, embankments, and vertical reinforced blocks (VRBs) along canals and drains. The project aims to enhance flood resilience infrastructure over a contract period of 540 days. Bidders must comply with World Bank procurement regulations and provide bid security as per the amounts listed for each sub-project. Eligibility requires contractors to be registered with PEC in relevant civil works categories, possess valid FBR and ATL registration, and demonstrate prior experience in similar flood protection or irrigation infrastructure projects.
